WeatherCheck Announced as a “Top 25 Company to Work For” by MReport
LOUISVILLE, November 1, 2018–WeatherCheck has been named a “Top 25 Company to Work For” by MReport magazine, one of the country’s leading sources for mortgage banking news.
According to Rachel Williams, Editor-in-Chief of MReport, this list serves as a premier platform to highlight the achievements of the organizations leading the way in the mortgage and housing industries.
“MReport is privileged to celebrate these organizations and their leadership in the Top 25 Companies list,” Williams said. “Each of these companies have worked tirelessly to cultivate exemplary workplace cultures, and this list is our way of giving them the recognition they deserve.”
“We set out to build a transformational culture and create a place where people love to work,” said Chief Executive Officer Demetrius Gray. “I’m thrilled to see that we’ve achieved one milestone in that effort.”
WeatherCheck was founded in 2016 by Gray and Chief Technical Officer Jermaine Watkins. It is the only African-American owned meteorology company in the country, and the only company tracking weather by address. Its meteorology team is creating new weather data sets that are otherwise unavailable.
WeatherCheck is automating severe weather response, from damage detection through the claims process to full repair and recovery.
Its patented, proprietary software serves numerous industry segments including mortgage servicing, real estate, logistics, emergency response, and insurance. The company is on track to have 20 million structures enrolled nationwide by the end of Q1 of 2019.
